Transformation tools

There are many tools that you can use to arrange your pictures into the shape/position you want.  I have used the same picture in all these so you can get an idea of what can be done.

Some I have taken a screen shot of while being used.

Some you will need the press the enter key to activate the action.

Move tool  Looks like a plus icon. When you click on it you can move your layer or selection or path or even your image.

Alignment tool. Looks like a white box with arrows pointing out from each side.

Crop tool Looks like the tip of  a cutting instrument.

Rotate tool Looks like two rectangles with 2 arrows. 1 on either side pointing in the opposite direction.

Scale tool  Looks like a small rectangle and a large rectangle with an arrow going from one to the other. The yellow line is where the original size was.

Shear tool Looks like a square with a little hanging over the edge on one side. This one need the enter button pressed to shear the selection.

Perspective Tool. Looks like a 4 sided shape - smaller up the top with two white squares (handles) at the bottom.

3D transform tool. Looks like a square made up of 9 squares, deformed.

Unified transform tool.

Handle transform tool

Flip tool. Looks like a rectangle with a double ended arrow across it. Image, layer, selection or path can be flipped horizontally or vertically just with a click on the canvas

Cage transform tool. Looks like 5  dots connected by lines

Warp transform tool. Looks like a black and white checkered square -warped.

With some of these tools, if they take the image off the canvas you will lose some of your image unless you want to. If you don't want to you may want to  merge it down to a larger background first.

There are more transformation and deformation tools in filters.
